Nestled in the heart of Pinellas Park, Café Bich Nga stands out as a vibrant Vietnamese restaurant and café that offers an authentic taste of Vietnam’s rich culinary heritage. This cozy yet lively spot at 5572 Park Blvd beckons food lovers with its inviting ambience and an impressive menu that brings together the best of traditional Vietnamese flavors and comforting, soul-warming dishes.
The star attractions here are undoubtedly the hearty soups and noodle dishes that transport your palate straight to the bustling streets of Saigon. Signature offerings such as Phở Tái and Bún Bò Huế highlight the skillful balance of deep, slow-simmered broths and fresh herbs, creating layers of complexity with every slurp. Particularly, the Bún Bò Huế has earned a devoted following — brimming with tender noodles, succulent cuts of meat, silky pork blood, fresh veggies, and rich pig hocks, all enveloped in a broth that bursts with bold, layered flavors that warm the soul.
Beyond the soups, Café Bich Nga’s menu flaunts an array of artisanal Vietnamese staples such as the Fresh Spring Rolls that crunch with fresh herbs and textures, Vermicelli with Grilled Chicken that delivers smoky, tender bites, and the enticing Bánh Canh Cua — a thick, inviting noodle soup rich with crab flavors. For those seeking hearty warmth, the Beef Stew (Bò Kho) and variations like Phở Bò Kho or Hủ Tiếu Dai Bò Kho offer robust, aromatic comfort with generous portions.
Drinks are thoughtfully curated too, with traditional choices such as Iced Tea, Thai Tea, and uniquely healthy Chinese drinks complementing the food perfectly, cleansing the palate and enhancing the dining experience.
The dining atmosphere at Café Bich Nga is warm and friendly, exuding a genuine sense of community. Guests repeatedly praise the attentive and knowledgeable staff, who eagerly guide newcomers through the menu’s exciting specialties without ever making them feel overwhelmed. The portions are famously generous—ideal for sharing, or for those who like to savor their flavors over multiple meals.
Customers consistently describe their visits as memorable and satisfying. One delighted patron noted the “huge” portion sizes that could easily be shared among friends, paired with “super tasty” concentrated lemonade. Another raves about the “amazing” freshness of the ingredients and the “fun, informative” staff who bring the menu to life. The welcoming vibe and friendly service enhance the authentic dining experience, making it a perfect spot for gathering with friends or family.
Whether you're new to Vietnamese cuisine or a seasoned aficionado, Café Bich Nga promises a genuine, flavorful journey marked by bold soups, fresh herbs, and comforting home-style dishes. Its combination of rich traditional fare, generous portions, and heartfelt hospitality makes it an essential dining destination in Pinellas Park.
Everything was delicious! It was my first time and the server answered all my questions without making me feel naive. The portions are HUGE, I could have split my soup with 2 others. The Lemonade was super concentrated but very tasty. Will definitely be back!
For Vietnamese food the selection was decent, I was expecting a bit more in traditional pork sandwiches but it seems like this place is tailored to Pho and soups. The food we got was pretty good, and their clear bone broth soup was great.
If you’re in the Pinellas area and craving a steaming bowl of Bun Bo Hue (BBH), this is the spot! Hands down the best BBH in town, a hidden gem that deserves way more love. The BBH comes loaded with everything you’d hope for: tender noodles, hearty cuts of meat, silky pork blood, fresh veggies, and rich pig hocks. The broth is the real star, bursting with deep, layered flavors that come together beautifully. It’s the kind of soup that feels perfect in any weather. You can spice it up with saté for extra heat or add shrimp paste for more savory punch but I recommend trying it as is first. The balance is just right, especially if you prefer a gentler kick of spice. My second favorite? The rice combo platter. The pork flank was unbelievably tender, smoky, and infused with flavor. The sauce had a subtle sweetness that paired perfectly with the side of tangy fish sauce. Mix the fish sauce into the rice with the eggs, shredded pork skin, and egg meatloaf, and you’ve got a bite that tastes like pure comfort like being transported straight to Vietnam. And unlike many places, their pork cut is thick, juicy, and never dry. To drink, the Vietnamese lemon limeade is a summer dream, bright, refreshing, and the perfect balance of sweet and tart. The Vietnamese iced tea is another must, crisp and refreshing, especially if you like your tea unsweetened. Service was a little slow and there was a small mix-up with our order, but it felt more like a simple miscommunication than anything serious. The food more than makes up for it. Highly recommend this spot if you want authentic Vietnamese flavors done right.
Food was amazing and provided pretty quickly. Everything was very fresh, the server was fun and very informative about the menu. Portion sizes are filling, but be careful upgrading to the large. It is VERY large. Make sure to take a photo of yourself outside the sign. You'll receive a free pin if you post it on your story/online.
This place was absolutely amazing! Came with my husband and two friends, and right from the entrance, we were greeted so nicely and friendly by Chad. The food was absolutely delicious. And the portions were so big! Enough to have leftovers for the next two days honestly. And the atmosphere was amazing too. Chad was an amazing host/waitress, she was so knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. We had a lot of questions and she answered each, or was so quick to get us answers. She was even able to help us find a place close by for dessert, a friend of hers overheard us and told her to come let us know at our table. We walked 3 minutes down the road to get our dessert thanks to her recommendation! They're really here to serve, give amazing food and a great atmosphere, and genuinely made our experience so great. First time coming, and we will definitely be returning. Truly went above and beyond. This place is a huge favorite of ours now, not just for the food, but for the amazing people here!
Food: Pho tai was incredible and possibly the best pho in Tampa, after trying over a dozen places. The meat was second best to another spot, but the broth was so good that it makes up for it. The fresh rolls were excellent as well. The Vietnamese lemonade was delicious, but my only complaint is that for $6.50 I shouldn’t be getting a cup that’s 75% ice. Atmosphere: Sunday night was completely empty except for my group. Very calm with some music in the background. Bench seating was pleasant. I definitely will be coming back. This is the best broth in Tampa.
